How to make RUN command for any shortcut

  • In this tutorial we will show you how to create RUN commands.In our daily day to day to life we use various run commands for different purpose what would be if we create RUN commands for our folders which would easily open on typing an command.This will help you to create RUN commands similar to winword,regedit,sendto,cmd,calc etc




  • Choose any file that you would like to create a run command for.


  • Right-click on that file and select create shortcut


  • The shortcut will be created in the same folder as your file. Copy and paste it to your windows folder. For most users, the Windows folder is in your C Drive.


  • Rename the file to anything you like.
    For instance: science404error


  • Now click on start, go to run and type the shortcut’s name into the dialog box that appears.
    For instance: science404error
